10 Time Saving Cleaning Hacks For Lazy People Like Me!

This blog post is sponsored by Art of Green®, however all opinions and thoughts are my own.

Now, don’t get me wrong. I love to clean. I love the fresh smell of cleaning products, and all of those junk drawers cleaned out.

But, sometimes I am not in the mood for the unknown amount of hours that deep cleaning requires.

Incorporating Art of Green’s multipurpose cleaner and wipes to my routine has been a game changer. I have learned all sorts of hacks, tips, and tricks to cleaning off the most stubborn of messes with Art of Green’s eco-friendly products.

Yes, Art of Green is GREEN! It is a 98% naturally derived multi-surface cleaner, has a biodegradable formula, along with being a USDA-Certified bio- based product.

I am here to tell you that you can use naturally-derived cleaning products on everyday messes.

So, LET’S CLEAN!

Here are some quick and easy hacks for the lazy cleaners like me:

1. Mattress

Remove all bedding from your mattress and sprinkle baking soda all over it. Let this stand for about an hour, and the come back to vacuum up the baking soda. This will deodorize your mattress.

2. Bathtub

Grab Art of Green’s multipurpose cleaner. Spray the entire bath and shower. Then scrub clean.

3. Walls

Grab your broom and a rag. Attach the rag to the bottom of the broom, the use this to reach those hard to reach spots on the walls and any spaces that have collected webs and dust.

4. Stovetop

Grab Art of Green’s, tough on dirt, grease, and grime multipurpose spray and wipes. First, spray a generous amount onto the oven’s surface. Let stand for 10 minutes. Pull 2 wipes out of the container, this will depend on the amount of grime covering your oven. Wipe clean.

5. Microwave

Grab a microwave safe bowl. Add vinegar and water to make a solution that will steam clean your microwave in seconds.

6. Toaster

I know your toaster is all crusty. So is mine. But I got you. Ensure your toaster is unplugged. Flip it upside down and gently shake to remove crumbs. Then use a clean toothbrush to reach the hard to reach places. Finally use an Art of Green wipe to give it a nice shine.

7. Outside of Fridge

I know sometimes we can miss this, but just grab Art of Green’s multipurpose spray, spray down the fridge and use the multipurpose wipes to wipe the fridge clean.

8. Washing Machine

Seriously? Yes, seriously. The washing machine cycles through a lot of dirt and grime, and overtime that can start to build up inside it making it less effective and efficient. First, run a full cycle only using bleach. Then a second cycle using vinegar.  Finally use Art of Green’s wipes to clean around the drum

9. Chrome Faucets?

Use dryer sheets and watch the water spots disappear.

10. Clogged Drain(s)?

Pour a cup of baking soda and vinegar into the drain. Wait for the reaction, and once it stops foaming wash your sink and drain unclogged within minutes.

Okay, I am not so much as lazy, as I am clever. These hacks have all helped me on more than one occasion.

You probably also noticed that Art of Green has become my go to for all of my cleaning needs and hacks. That’s because, unlike other cleaners Art of Green is great for my sensitive skin, and I don’t have to worry about any breakouts because it is a 98% naturally derived multi-surface cleaner.

I hope these hacks were helpful.
